Mint Films

About Mint Films

Picture
Back in 2000, MINT FILMS only meant something to two Cape Cod kids with nothing better to do. Armed with a Canon GL2 camcorder and some pretty bad puns about “rotten fruit,” Jeff Griecci and George Anagnostakos spent their high school career as Yarmouth Port’s first and only comedic filmmaking duo. After graduation, Jeff and George parted ways for college, but the idea of MINT continued to evolve.

Jeff took the reins, bringing MINT with him to Portland, Maine, while George remained an important influence and contributor. They kept in touch frequently sharing ideas and feedback.

In Portland the MINT family grew when Jeff began to share his ambitions with a new set of creative folk, primarily college students. As Jeff gained professional and educational experience through internships, work, and a degree in film studies, the idea of MINT grew too, nearly double in size. His skills and professional work ethic, with the help of a talented crew, established MINT on a local and national level, where they have received much recognition for the quality and creativity of their work.

As MINT continues to evolve in the professional and creative world, it will always reflect it’s humble beginnings and remain at its heart a group of friends having a good time making movies.
