Well, it sure has been a while, hasn’t it? A little over six months for those of you who are counting. A great deal has happened in the last half year. We’ll see what we can get to in the coming days. For now, I’ll let those who bother to read this know that I’ve relocated to Los Angeles for the winter with much to accomplish. With the first post of the year, here is my new DP reel along with a few still gems from past seasons. Here’s to 2015. -Jeff

Mint is proud to present the latest line from Core Deco. We are very pleased to share our entirely new range of home goods. Bold, unexpected, and memorable, each of the new offerings has it's own distinct presence. In the furniture category we have two exciting new additions, The Pyramid Terrarium and The Diamond Table. Expertly constructed with luxurious hardwoods, these items are well suited to take center stage in your home or office. After the wild success of our debut collection of Ceramic Tiles we are back now with even more options. Timeless greyscale geometry meets the modern interior. Revive your shower or kitchen backsplash with these unique gems. -MWM We had a nice visit back to Maine for Matt W. Moores new digs, it's always a pleasure working with him and the Core Deco products. So much thanks to the folks at Possible Studios for doing just that. If you're feeling the tunes in these videos, we highly recommended checking the artists out, Double Tone, Mike Be and Dear Face. Cheers! Day 4 has wrapped in chilly Comlumbia, MO. The weekend temperaturs dipped will into the single digits with dustings of snow and bouts of freezing rain, only reinforcing the bounding experience. The day was booked with some heavy hitters, Rich Hill & Boyhood being obvious highlights. Cairo Drive was on deck until a projection failure cancelled the screening, some impromptu performance by Maine's Tough Cats smoothed the experience. I hope to catch it upon a national release. The night closed with yet another amazing Buskers Last Stand performance at the Missouri Theater, featuring The Tough Cats & Samuel James (Maine), as well as Yes Ma'am, Raya Brass Band and Les Trois Coups. Finally wrapping out the volunteer party around 2am, the Maine Contingent (proudly rolling with 4 new members, Ian, Andrea, Colin & Sam) found warmth and refuge at the Berlin Cafe for a night cap and waffles, bringing the True/False experience full circle. What a weekend. I'm already looking forward to next year. Trailers and recap coming soon. Day 3 complete, packed as usual, filled with a few Secret Screenings that should be noted, as well as Stand Clear Of The Closing Doors. Trailers soon to come. Starting Day 4 now, with much anticipation. Day 2 wrapped. Apples and Sausage at the Berlin, just as good as last year. Found one of the raddest Cosby sweaters ever, photos soon to come. Notable films: Sacro GRA, might have been my favorite film of the weekend so far. The Vanguishing of the Witch Baba Yaga had the best sound track I've heard in a while. Feeling really great about this weekend so far... Day 1 of T/F: Accomplished. Field Notes: I now know that I can stay awake trough 3 film screenings on only two hours of sleep. A Stuckey's Pecan Log Roll is a Missouri truck stop treat better left untouched. Notable film of the da: Jodorowsky's Dune. Off to Cafe Berlin for breakfast and much needed coffee. The last three or four months I spent doing some traveling. A jaunt in the North East and a few healthy treks across the state of Oregon, mostly on work related adventures. Although it's nice to be back home catching up and making YME edits, I can't help but reminisce about the great outdoors... Most photos pulled from instagram.
Summer always proves to be the busiest of seasons. Between work, travel, production and general life in the sun, there isn't much room left for slaving away on the computer.
We plan to send gifts out to those who donated to our Year-round Metal Enjoyment fundraiser this fall. So much thanks to all of those who gave to the cause, you are the enablers of these projects. We are also very excited to have a new music video wrapped and in postproduction, featuring Jesse Pilgrim & The Bonfire of Maine. Stay tuned. In-between all of this, we've tried to photograph as much as possible. Here are a few... A bit late on my True/False recap post, better late than never. Here are just a few of my recommended documentary films to see in 2013. The Machine Which Makes Everything DisappearLeviathanCutie & The BoxerExpedition to the End of the WorldNo |
