Day 4 has wrapped in chilly Comlumbia, MO. The weekend temperaturs dipped will into the single digits with dustings of snow and bouts of freezing rain, only reinforcing the bounding experience. The day was booked with some heavy hitters, Rich Hill & Boyhood being obvious highlights. Cairo Drive was on deck until a projection failure cancelled the screening, some impromptu performance by Maine's Tough Cats smoothed the experience. I hope to catch it upon a national release. The night closed with yet another amazing Buskers Last Stand performance at the Missouri Theater, featuring The Tough Cats & Samuel James (Maine), as well as Yes Ma'am, Raya Brass Band and Les Trois Coups. Finally wrapping out the volunteer party around 2am, the Maine Contingent (proudly rolling with 4 new members, Ian, Andrea, Colin & Sam) found warmth and refuge at the Berlin Cafe for a night cap and waffles, bringing the True/False experience full circle. What a weekend. I'm already looking forward to next year. Trailers and recap coming soon.
