For the love of pizza, do yourself a favor; grab your favorite slice, sit down and watch this beautiful gem of a short produced by my friend Tom Levin, featuring the love of my life Charles Parker Newton.
Tom's a wiz with this sort of shit, and he goes for the gullet. He makes good choices, funny choices, beautiful choices. Always psyched to see what he produces next.
Parker has been known to get real from time to time. He gets real in life, on camera, passionately, about all sorts of things.
Long story long, here's Parker getting real on pizza, and its probably the best damn pizza in North America, maybe even the world.

Psyched to release this short profile piece on my good friend Aaron Busch.
Aaron's work is absolutely amazing. In my opinion, he's a wizard, blending steel and wood together into the perfect marriage with each new piece he produces. I'm especially a fan of his more modern looking works, love that orange table below.

We had a nice visit back to Maine for Matt W. Moores new digs, it's always a pleasure working with him and the Core Deco products.
So much thanks to the folks at Possible Studios for doing just that.
If you're feeling the tunes in these videos, we highly recommended checking the artists out, Double Tone, Mike Be and Dear Face.

Cheers!

Small Black - "Real People"

Recently, I was fortunate enough to work with some rad folks on this music video "Real People" from Brooklyn based band, Small Black. I'm all about the aesthetics with this one, totally brings me back to those youthful rainy days watching 80's sci-fi on tv.
I can dig it, for sure!

MWM / 1xRUN / VERTIGO

Happy to drop the latest Matt W. Moore video for his new print, VERTIGO. Check it out...
MWM / 1xRUN / Vertigo

"Vertigo is a 3 color (greyscale) screen print directly on raw aluminum, a process that creates lots of interesting opportunities for different lighting, reflections, and magic moments. Throughout the process of designing it I was always mindful of where the aluminum sections would shine through the art. It’s not just a flat art dropped onto a cool material, I really integrated the aluminum into the design, so there are lots of moments where the highlights of forms are made from the actual light in the environment instead of the ink color in the artwork.

The artwork has a fun ‘Choose Your Own Adventure’ story to it. It is a portrayal of the idea of vertigo. Disorienting and confusing, hard to decipher, which way is up and down. The typography in the piece reads ‘Vertigo’ 4 different times, in all 4 directions, so it is possible for the art to hang in any way and reveal another cryptic typographic execution. I love the idea of rotating a print every week, month, or year and having a new narrative to decipher and appreciate." - Matt W. Moore
