Sunday was the 4th and final day of our True/False adventure in Columbia, MO. David and I started the morning like each before it at Cafe Berlin, scoring another solid breakfast. The rest of my day was filled with 4 screenings, the Closing Night Reception and the Buskers Last Stand.
Each film was noteworthy in its own right, but my top choice would have to be Who is Dayani Cristal?, which had various elements that spoke to me.
In-between screenings I accidentally stumbled upon The Speculative Stroll of Columbia, guided by non other then Timothy "Speed" Levitch. A pleasant surprise, if you haven't seen The Cruise, you should.
The Closing Night Reception was classy, but I think the Buskers really took the show with a multi act performance around the main lobby of the Missouri Theater, featuring Maine's very own Toughcats. A really wonderful way to end such an eventful weekend.
T/F13 was truly an inspiring adventure and I will most definitely be coming back next year.
Cheers to the Maine crew: Jon, David, Ron, Lindsay & the Toughtcats!
